My specialisation in the field of General Insurance is Work Injury Compensation (WIC) and Foreign Worker Medical Insurance (FWMI). 

 

These insurances are made compulsory by the Singapore government to protect employees in the company in their course of work. 

 

Unexpected situations like accidents, cuts, or falling down from heights may cause employees to be hospitalized and cause them a loss of income, or even unable to continue their trade moving forward. As such, these insurances create a safety net for the employees and helps companies in managing the high costs in the event of unforeseen circumstances. 

 

Many companies often feel daunted when it comes to complicated insurance terminology and especially so when it comes to filling up claim forms and filing compulsory injury and medical reports. This is where I would be there to save the day by sharing my experiences with them as each claim is unique. I would advise them where and how these claims could be made and provide value-adding services by guiding them step-by-step on how these situations could be resolved.
