WICA
The Work Injury Compensation Act (WICA) lets employees make claims for work-related injuries or diseases, without having to take legal action. The Work Injury Compensation Act (WICA) covers any local or foreign employee who is under a contract of service or contract of apprenticeship, regardless of salary, age or nationality.

It is mandatory to get a WICA policy for:
- All employees doing manual work, regardless of salary level.
- All employees doing non-manual work, earning $2,600 or less a month.

Although employees who are not stated above are not required to be covered by a WICA policy law, companies are still liable for compensation. Therefore, a policy should be in place to cover all employees.
